In this Quick Start Guide:
Farm Map Introduction
Building your farm map is the 1st step of creating your farm in AgriWebb. Watch this video to learn how to draw in your paddocks.
If you have a shape-file, .kml or .json file of your farm map, reach out to our Farm success team so they can upload this for you. When finished, you can export and print your farm map, and if you make a mistake you can always edit it.
Deciding on a naming convention or using prefixes can help with reporting on paddocks down the track. Read more about prefixes and running your farm in blocks to decide what's right for you.
Adding your Individual Animals
Before you add in any animals, you need to set up your enterprises and management groups. Watch the video below to learn how to do so.
Once you have set your enterprises and management groups, there are three options to add in your individual animals, these are:
Manual Entry: manually add in your individual livestock and choose what information you want to detail.
Live Session: Induct your animals crush-side, using an AgriWebb 'live session'.
CSV Import: This can be completed by uploading a CSV file. Watch the video below outlining how.
Filling out your inventory
Your inventory is a real-time view of current feed and chemical stocks on farm. Performing livestock treatments, feeding records, and paddock treatments will pull stock from your inventory, whilst harvest yields will push into it.
Inventory management is an important aspect to keep up to date in AgriWebb, and will help you pass audits with ease.
Day-to-Day Activities
Once you are happy with your set-up, your record-keeping in AgriWebb is all in the palm of your hand and in the cloud! Day-to-day activities are easily performed on your mobile app such as:
Livestock Movement Records
Performing Livestock Treatments and Feeding Events
Setting Tasks
As seasons progress, you can start to make use of broader functions such as:
Performing Paddock Records
Performing more Livestock Records
Visualising Paddock Insights
Utilize Calendar
You can create events, by clicking ‘Create’ in the top right corner, choosing the event you would like to create; Rainfall Record, Individual Record, Task or Farm Note.
When creating any event from the Calendar, you can still adjust the date selected.
You cannot create animal records in the future. To learn more, check out how to operate the calendar on the mobile and the web app.
Reports
Over time, the data you input into AgriWebb will begin to tell a story. Individual animal records along with the production reports (shown below) allow you to visualise this, aiding your decision making. Navigating through these, customising columns, and grouping by like data will allow you to pull the exact insights you are after out of the system.
Note: Reports are only available on your Web App.
