Livestock Transfer Records (IAM)

Moving animals on and off your farm

Updated yesterday

You can record the transfer of livestock on and off farm (holdings). This can be between farms on your account or to other AgriWebb user's accounts.

If you need to record the Sale or Purchase of livestock, please use those respective records instead, to maintain accurate record keeping.

Want to transfer livestock to other AgriWebb accounts?

Both parties need to accept user invites for the respective accounts and granted the 'Tranfer Only' user role. This will allow you to see the respective farm to transfer the animals to within the Transfer record. See User Management for more info.

Livestock transfers can be recorded on both the Mobile and Web App in Mob Management.

Please note to record transfers on, animals need to be on your account first, see the articles here for adding animals on.

What data gets transferred between farms?

For individual animal management, the majority of the data gets transferred except for records that the receiving farm will not have the associated data for such as; feed records, management groups or paddock movement history - as the receiving farm won't have the same feed inventory or paddocks to map to. However, treatments do get transferred and all records will be visible in the individual animal's history.

Want to transfer livestock to other AgriWebb accounts?

Both parties need to accept user invites for the respective accounts and grant the 'Transfer Only' user role. This will allow you to see the respective farm to transfer the animals to within the Transfer record.

Editing Transfer Records

All fields can be modified except for the Transfer Type. Once a transfer is recorded as being between farms in AgriWebb, or if the destination was entered manually that cannot be edited.

A transfer record edit can only be done on the 'incoming' farm that has received the transfer.

If you have recorded a transfer between AgriWebb farms and no longer wish to copy the animals to the other farm, cancel the transfer.

To bring those animals back onto their original farm open your Mobile App and go to Livestock followed by Activity.

Find the Transfer Off Farm record for those animals and click into it to delete.
