Your average stocking rate, closing and opening head as well as an average stocking density for each month is viewable here. The graph in the top of the page visualises this on a month by month basis.

You're able to toggle between different measures of stocking density in the top left corner to view Stocking Rate (Ha / DSE), Rainfall (DSE/ha / 100mm) and the Cumulative Stocking Load information from your operation.

This can help give you an understanding of the production capability of a paddock. It can help identify how well a paddock can recover in regards to its stocking rate.

For example, if you know that for the months through spring you had an average of 15 DSE per hectare, you can compare that to the feed on offer in that paddock and determine whether it can carry more or less stock based on your target minimum feed on offer.

This report can also be useful when considering pasture improvement. If you can see that a paddock hasn’t recovered well after grazing and its DSE load has been relatively low, then it might be worth considering bringing that paddock into a pasture improvement program.

The AE / DSE load report shows the AE / DSE load in a paddock during certain periods. This helps you match your stocking rate with your feed curve.
