See a practical example from one of our customers - where they had 108% scanning for the maiden merino ewes but when they noticed they also had 14% dry, they wanted to understand why before next season.
Create a New Scanning Record

From the Mobile App, tap on the Map Icon and select the Livestock tab.
Tap on the livestock group you would like to create the scanning record for and navigate to the Mob tab > select Mob and click into a specific Mob.
Tap on the livestock group you would like to create the scanning record for and select More > then select Scan from the Livestock Records. To start the scanning process, enter the Scanning date. It will default to today's date automatically.
By tapping Basic or Advanced, you can choose to allocate results as Empty and Pregnant, or Empty, Singles, Twins, Triplets and Quads. It just depends on how you would like to record your scanning results.
You can also launch the Livestock Pregnancy Counter to count as you go.
Hit + to increase or - decrease your scanning count.
Following this, you can Draft and Split into groups according to the results. Once you have moved the livestock into their target paddocks you can edit their details and add a Management Tag according to their pregnancy status.

Scanning and Drafting in AgriWebb
To achieve accurate scanning percentages across your flock or herd it's best to mimic what has occurred in the yards in AgriWebb.
If you scan your livestock and know the preg status broken down by age class or tag colour you can simply apply the scanning record to each mob.
If you don't know the breakdown of results by age class or tag colour and have scanned as one group of mixed age, then the steps below will show you how best to reflect your scanning results.
Bringing a number of different mobs into the yards for scanning can be replicated in AgriWebb by merging the selected mobs together.
To merge mobs, the breed, age class, tag colour, management tags and enterprise/management group will need to be the same. These details can be edited in the mob details section. Have a read of the merging article for step by step instructions.
Note: you can create as many mobs as you need while merging. An example of this could be merging into one mob of 'Mixed Age Ewes' or 'Mixed Age Cows.'
Or two mobs; 'Mixed Age Merino Ewes' and 'Xbred ewes.'
If you have scanned multiple mobs together and want to draft the animals into different paddocks based on their pregnancy status, you can use Add draft button within the Pregnancy Scan record.
AgriWebb will create a draft for each pregnancy result, such as Empty and Pregnant.
The animals will initially be split proportionally across the selected mobs based on the size of each mob. You can adjust the number of animals from each mob if you know the actual split is different.
For each draft:
Review the animals allocated to the draft. The source mobs and the number of animals to be drafted from each mob will be displayed.
Adjust the Mob size for each source mob if the suggested split does not match what occurred during drafting.
Select the Paddock where the drafted animals will be moved.
Repeat this for each pregnancy status.
AgriWebb will validate the draft against the scanning results. The total number of animals drafted for each pregnancy status must match the number entered in the Pregnancy Scan record. If the numbers do not match, an error will be displayed and the record cannot be saved until the split is corrected.
Once the drafts are complete, select Save.
The Pregnancy Scan record will then show both the scanning results and the paddocks the animals were drafted into.
