💡 Understanding Nutrition Report Calculations
To ensure you have an accurate view of your farm's performance and costs, the nutrition report uses daily averages based on feeding records. Below, we explain how we calculate the consumption and cost figures per head.
How is Average kg/head/day calculated?
AgriWebb looks at each day individually. Since the same mob or individual can be fed multiple times, we sum all the feed provided on that day and divide it by the total number of animals in the mob [(Total kg provided in the day) ÷ (Total head in the mob on that day)].
How is Average cost/head/day calculated?
Following the same logic as consumption, the cost is calculated daily to reflect the actual expense per animal for each day of feeding [(Total cost of feed provided in the day) ÷ (Total head in the mob on that day)].
