📥CSV Weight Importer - Web App

You can update your individual animal weights via a CSV file.

🚦Start the Import

a. Go to ➡️ Livestock

b. Click ➡️ Individuals

c. Select ➡️ the blue “Import Animal Data” button

d. Choose ➡️ Import Weights from the dropdown menu

e. Drag and Drop your file or Choose ➡️ Upload from Computer

📍Map Your CSV Columns

AgriWebb will automatically try to match your CSV columns with the correct animal properties.

  • Make sure your CSV has clear, descriptive headers

  • If a column isn't recognized you'll be able to manually adjust it

  • Include key fields like the full animal tag (e.g., UK56355199222) for accurate identification.

⚠️ If AgriWebb doesn’t recognize a column, you’ll be prompted to manually map it.

📊 Adding Multiple Weights for the Same Animal

To import several weights for one animal:

→ Create a new row in your CSV for each weight entry
→ Use the same EID/VID each time, with different weights and dates
→ AgriWebb will assign each weight to the correct animal automatically

Backdating Weights for Moved-Off Animals

Even if an animal has been moved off the farm, you can still add weight records:

→ Use the same CSV import process
→ Ensure the full animal tag is listed for each entry
→ AgriWebb will match the tag and apply the weight, even if the animal is no longer active

Example:

EID

Weight

Date

123456789

250 kg

2024-01-01

123456789

270 kg

2024-02-15

123456789

285 kg

2024-03-20

🚨 Fix Any Errors

If your file contains any invalid values or formatting issues:

⚠️ AgriWebb will highlight those rows
🛠️ You’ll have the option to enter a manual correction before proceeding
❌ You won’t be able to save the import until all errors are resolved

If any invalid values are found in your CSV you will be able to replace them with manual values.

📈Weight Report

To view an animal's weight data in detail, you can review the Weight Records Report on the Web App where weights and dates are displayed in a table format.

You can sort the "Visual ID" column to group weight records for the same animal.

If the column is not visible, enable it by clicking "Columns" above the table and checking "Visual ID." For further analysis, export the weight records to Excel and create custom graphs or additional reports as needed.
