Weaning Records (IAM)

Tracking weaning events for Individual Animal Management plans

Animals will be classified as weaners after a certain period of time, view our age class article for the specifics. However, you may want to record a specific weaning record event for your records. The steps below outline how to record a weaning record.


Mobile App

Bulk Record

Click Livestock in the menu tab along the bottom.

Select Create Bulk Record.

Select Wean.

Select the animals you're looking to wean, and the relevant date > save. If you need to apply multiple animals, click the drop down arrow beside Select Animals, here you also have the ability to select animals from paddocks or management groups.

Be sure to toggle from Basic > Advanced to apply the Method.

Live Session

On the app, head to the Livestock Tab > Live Sessions > Create new session

Select the wean option, and then fill in any of the defaults you wish too.

Then either Run later or Start Session.

Web App

Select Livestock > Individuals. From here you can click Add Record.

Choose Wean then toggle from Basic > Advanced to display all fields.

By clicking the drop down arrow beside Select animals, you have the option to add animals to the record by paddocks, management groups, and CSV.

After adding appropriate animals and weaning methods, Click Save.


Viewing weaning record data

You can view the animals weaning date by clicking into the animals card and looking at the History.
