Streamline the process of recording animal treatments by using a Live Session or a Bulk Record!

Live Session

Mobile App (only)

Click on Livestock in the menu at the bottom of your screen.

Click on Start Live Session in the top left corner.

Select Treatment from the 'Quick Records' menu.

Select the medicine you wish to administer from your inventory. If the treatment is not yet in your inventory tap the Add custom medicine and fill in the details.

Once you have picked the medicine, you will see the live treatment record setup. You need to set a Dosage Per Head, this automatically sets the default dose per animal. Note: This can be modified during the live session.

Once the dosage is set, the Select containers from inventory button is enabled. By selecting it you will be presented with a list of all containers of that chemical, including their batch numbers.

Select the containers you want to use and then tap Confirm container selections.

You will then be returned to the live treatment record setup page, where you will see the containers you have selected itemised. Tap 'Update selection' if you want to change your selection.

Click Start Session or Run Later.

Once in a live session you will be prompted to select an animal. Pick or scan the animal you want to administer the treatment to. Once an animal has been selected you will see a card showing the treatment information.

This information includes the dosage to be administered to this animal, the batch number as well as a visual representation of the live total of the selected container currently on offer . Select the Change container button to modify the current container in use.

To change the dose of the treatment tap the EDIT button. Fill in the new dose or change your container selection.

Select Save and Next to move on to the next animal or FINISH to finish the session.

When you finish a session containing treatments, you will see a summary of information like below:

Bulk Treatment Records

Click on Livestock in the menu at the bottom of your screen. and choose Create a Bulk Record.

Choose the species that you wish to create the treatment record for and tap the Treatment button.

Select the medicine you wish to administer from your inventory. If the treatment is not yet in your inventory tap the Add custom medicine and fill in the details.

Once you treatment has been chosen the Treatment Record window will appear. Choose your animals and fill in the treatment details.

You can enter a 'dosage per head' or 'total amount used'. The other value will be automatically calculated.

Note: both the above values should always add up to the same amount - so if you have 9 animals at a 'dosage per head' of 40ml, then 'total amount used' should equal 360ml.

Once the 'dosage per head' amount and the 'total amount used' are set the container selector will be enabled.

Click on the Select containers from inventory. There will be a list of medicine containers itemised and grouped by their batch numbers. You will there, be able to see the capacity and live remaining levels of each for quick reference.

Choose the container/s that you would like to use for your treatment record, and tap Confirm container selections.

Note: You can only use a single batch number when creating a bulk treatment record.

You will now see return to the treatment record setup, and you will see the containers you have selected. Use the 'Update selection' button to change your container selection.

Fill in the Reason for Treatment and click Save. The app will return to the Livestock page where a message displaying 'Record created' will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Web App

Click on Livestock in the main menu.

Click on Individuals in the tabs at the top of the screen.

Click the Create Record button.

Choose the species you wish to create a record for.

Choose Treatment.

Select your treatment item from the list. You can use the Filter box to search for the item. Use the drop down Show box to switch between your personal inventory and the entire AgriWebb catalogue.

Use the Add Custom Medicine button to add in a new medicine to your list.

Click Select on the medicine you want to administer.

Select your animals and fill in the treatment details.You can enter a 'dosage per head' or 'total amount used' and the other value of the two should be worked out automatically.

Note: both the above values should always add up to the same amount - so if you have 9 animals at a 'dosage per head' of 40ml, then 'total amount used' should equal 360ml.

Once the 'dosage per head' and 'total amount used' are calculated correctly the containers section will be enabled. Click on Select containers from inventory button.

This will give you an overview of all of the containers available in your current inventory for the selected medicine (grouped by batch). As you select the containers you want to use (on the left) they will appear under the Selected Containers section (on the right).

You will see an indicator itemising how much of the treatment you required in total compared to how much is available in the containers you have selected. 

Note: You will only be able to select containers from the same batch.

When more than one container is selected, you can change the order they are used in based on expiry. Click and drag the card for a container to change the order.

Once you are happy with you selection click Confirm container selections at the bottom right corner of the dialog. 

The treatment record now displays the containers you selected. If you decide you want to change the batch or containers you can do so by clicking Update selection and following the same process as before.

Fill in the Reasons for Treatment and click on Save in the bottom right corner of the screen to complete the treatment record.

View Applied Treatments

You can view your applied animal treatments individual histories or in the treatment report. See Individual Animal Details & History and IAM Reports - Treatment for more information.

Note: If the medicine has a withholding period and an animal is still within that holding period you will see some extra alerts. By clicking the 'Production' tab within an animal's details you get can see warnings for the current withholding period and all related withholding types, including the end date and number of days still remaining.
