Recording observational records against your individual animals

Updated over a week ago

This guide details how to record observational records for your livestock and how to view that data.

Mobile App - Live Session

Observations can be recorded in a live session. For steps on setting up a live session see Live Session Records (Individuals).

On the Mobile App, tap on the Livestock tab.

Observations can be recorded per animal on an ad hoc basis or for all animals in a live session through a template.

From the Livestock tab select Record Templates. Then either edit an existing article or create a new template.

Setup your template and select Add Record Step and select Observation.

Use the category checkboxes to quickly select multiple observations. Then tap Confirm observations to continue.

Tap Set Defaults to set default values for the session. You can also drag the cards to re-arrange the order they will appear in the session.
