Multi-template live sessions are used when you need to record separate records for different groups of animals or classes of stock.
Common examples include:
Treating heifers and steers with different chemical
Drafting based on weight groups
Drafting and/or assigning management groups based on age class, sex, weight or pregnancy status.

Mobile App
Select the Livestock tab.
Select Record Templates to view your list of templates.
Tap Create new template followed by the species this template should apply to.
Now select 'Multi-template'
Fill in the name and description of the new Multi-template. Tap on 'Add template' to start building a sub-template.
NOTE: these sub-templates will become button names to choose from in your live session.
Select the steps to add to your sub-template. You can set defaults for most of the steps added and then override this in the session when needed.
NOTE: Where there is a record that will apply to all livestock being processed, used the 'Shared session records' section.
Tap Save to finalise your sub-template.
Continue to build out your Multi-template to cater to all groups of animals being processed.
Add records that will be applied to all animals to the 'Shared session records' section.
Tap Save to finalise your template.
Run a Live Session
Once you are happy with your template steps you can select 'Run live session' to run the steps in a live session, once connected to Hardware.
Edit a Template
From the template list tap the one you wish to edit and select Edit Template.

Note: When creating a Record Template certain steps can only be used for the intended purpose of a Bulk Record OR Live Session;

Add Animal
All other steps not listed above are available to use in both a Bulk Record and Live Session record template.
