We know that the feed wastage on the farm is sometimes inevitable and can occur for different reasons, such as expired products, feed mix quality, or due to the weather. With this report, you will be able to identify the main causes for feed wastage on the property, as well as how much it is costing the farm.
Accessing the Report
To access the report, click Reports in the menu on the left side of the screen, select Inventory, and then Feed Wastage.
Navigating Through the Report
Through the report columns, you can view all the reasons for feed wastage recorded by you during the feeder stocktake. All causes in this report show the discarded amount, in the farm's unit measure, as well as the cost, in dollars. To view how to create a wastage record, check out this article.
💡 Pro-tips
Sort the Total Wastage or Total Cost columns to identify the total costs and amounts.
Group the report by Product to identify the feeds most wasted by the farm.
