Feeder Status Report

Monitor the feed level in the feed troughs and plan your next refills

Updated over a week ago

This report is available for Brazilian customers only.

Some farms have many active troughs on the farm, and monitoring them can be a hard task. Which troughs are empty or running low? Where should my cowboys go first to ensure proper animal consumption? These and other questions are answered in this report.

How to Access the Report

To access the report, click Reports in the menu on the left side of the screen, select Inventory, and then Feeder Status.

Navigating Through the Report

The report has some columns that can help you track feeder levels:

  • Current level: Shows the estimated amount of product in the trough at the time the report is viewed.

  • Days remaining: This is an estimate of how many days the product in the trough will be available to the animals.

  • Feeder status: Visual tags show the status of each trough

    • Good - Enough product in the trough for four days or more

    • Alert - Enough product in the trough for two or three days

    • Critical - Product in the trough for less than one day

    • Inactive - The trough becomes inactive when it has not been fully configured, when there are no animals feeding from it, or when there is no defined consumption rate

💡 Pro-tip

Sort the Status or Days remaining columns to find out which troughs are at critical levels or on alert—these are the troughs you should prioritize refilling.

As on the reports, you can enable/disable columns, group, export, or print the report. To learn more about customizing your reports, check out our help articles (Customize your reports, Reporting Guides).

Note: Click the View action button to open the feeder dialog, from there you can add refill records.
