When Mobs are castrated or spayed on farm, apply a castrate or spay record on the mob/s. This record will also automatically adjust the age class of the animals to a steer or wether or spayed heifer or cow.
Spaying is available for Cattle only.
Mobile App
From the Mobile App, tap on the Map Icon and select the Livestock tab.
Tap on the livestock group you would like to create the scanning record for and navigate to the Mob tab > select Mob and click into a specific Mob.
Once in the Mob's details select More > then select Castrate or Spay from the Livestock Records.


If you don't see it, your livestock's Age Class is not a
Heifer Calf, Heifer Weaner, or Heifer
Bull Calf, Bull Weaner or Bull
Cow
Ram Lamb, Ram Weaner, Ram Hogget, Ram

The Basic record will allow you to add the mobs and the date. However, for Castration, if you toggle between the basic to advanced option (top right), you'll be able to add the Method. Choose between None, Ring, Surgical Removal, Pincers or Unknown.
Press Save to save the record.
Web App
To add a scanning record on the Web App, press on the Livestock tab and select the Add Records button.
Select Castrate or Spay.
The Basic record will allow you to add the mobs and the date. However, for Castration, if you toggle between the basic to advanced option (top left), you'll be able to add the Method. Choose between None, Ring, Surgical Removal, Pincers or Unknown.
Fill out the required details and hit save.
Editing the Record
If mistakes have been made when creating the records you can amend them by navigating to Livestock > Activity and find your desired record. This can be done on web or mobile.
Clicking into the records will allow for you to see the summary of the record you created, in the bottom right hand corner you will find the edit button to amend the details of the record.
