Get notifications on the Mobile App for your grazing plan, feed plan, tasks and transfers

Updated yesterday

We have recently released Push notifications on the mobile app, and the notifications are available for the following records:

  • Feed Plans

  • Grazing Plans

  • Tasks

  • Transfers

The push notifications are mobile only and different to the email notifications function.

How to Turn Notifications On and Off

On the Web App, head into your Account settings and click into notifications settings:

You will see the different notifications available below.

For the reminders, the overdue notification will go out 1 day after the due date and at the time you have selected.

The overdue reminder notification will go out 10 days after the due date notification and at the time you have selected.

You can switch each one on and off using the state toggle:

Notification Settings

You can configure the time of day the notification gets sent out using the settings for each one.

Within settings, you can choose which notification reminders you want to receive and then change the time of day by clicking into the time for due, overdue and overdue reminders.

For Transfers, this notification is just on/off - the notification goes out when you receive the transfer from the previous farm. Control whether you want this notification from the state toggle:

While all users with access to the Web App may see an option for Transfer notifications. They are only sent out to Administrators or Farm Manager users on the account when the transfer is received.

FAQs

Q: I'm signed up for notifications, but don't seem to be getting push notifications on my phone - why not?

A: You might not be using the latest version, so check if there is an update. Try logging out and logging back into the app.

Q: I've got the notification, but I can't see the record for it?

A: Ensure you have synced your farm and the new data (tasks, transfers, etc.) should show up on your farm. Also note that you may get notifications for other farms you have downloaded, so make sure you're on the correct farm (Menu > Switch Farm) when checking.

Q: I've created a record that has a notification (e.g. a feed plan) and I didn't receive a notification, but others did?

A: Notifications don't go out to who created it; only actions taken by other users will trigger a push notification for you

Q: Why am I getting notifications? I don't want them turned on.

A: All users with access to the Web App will see the notifications settings. Notifications are turned on by default. If you need to change the settings or turn them off, you can do so in Account > Notification Settings.
