Connecting the Tru-Test Eziweigh 7/7i

How to connect your Tru-Test Datamars Eziweigh 7 and Eziweigh 7i to your AgriWebb Mobile App.

Setup Considerations

The Trutest Datamars Eziweigh 7 and Eziweigh 7i has 2 physical male connectors (Amphenol plug) that can connect to Load Bars. It also has 1 female Amphenol connector for power.

The Eziweigh 7/7i ONLY sends weight information to AgriWebb and does not read any EIDs directly. You can still get EID information by connecting an EID Reader directly to AgriWebb Mobile App.

NOTE: if you have an Apple iOS device, make sure you are using the Eziweigh 7i to connect via bluetooth, NOT the discontinued Eziweigh 7.

More Info about the Eziweigh 7i is available on Tru-Test website. Your Eziweigh 7i may require a software update and it is recommended that you ensure you are on the most recent version. You can download the latest version here.

Setup Option

If you have a bluetooth Panel Reader, that will replace the bluetooth stick reader in the following diagrams.

  1. Connect the EID Reader or Panel Reader to the AgriWebb Mobile App via bluetooth (more info can be found here)

    1. Search for new bluetooth device on your phone, and select the EID/Panel Reader

    2. AgriWebb Mobile App > Menu > Hardware Connections > Select your EID/Panel reader (e.g. HR-5)

  2. Connect the AgriWebb Mobile App to Eziweigh 7i (more info can be found here)

    1. Search for new bluetooth device on your phone, and select the Eziweigh 7i

    2. AgriWebb Mobile App > Menu > Hardware Connections > Select Eziweigh 7i

  3. Start your session on Eziweigh 7i and AgriWebb
