A guide to entering individual weight records

CSV Weight Importer - Web App

You can update your individual animal weights via a CSV file.

Click Livestock followed by Individuals. Select the blue Create Record button and choose Import Weights from CSV.

Select your species. Drag and drop your CSV file into AgriWebb or choose to Upload from Computer.

We will attempt to identify all the columns in your CSV and match them with AgriWebb animal properties. Incase there are columns we don’t recognise, you can review the mapping and make changes.

If any invalid values are found in your CSV you will be able to replace them with manual values.

Once imported your can you can review the records that will be created. Once you're happy with the upload you can hit the Save button to create your Weight Record.

Note: If you want to import multiple weights for multiple animals at once you simply need to list in your CSV file, all weights and dates with a corresponding EID in your CSV file.

Example below, the same animal has 3 weights listed. When importing, the imported will add all these weights to the animal associated with that EID.

One-off Weight Record - Web App

Select Livestock > Individuals. From here you can click Add Records > Create records

Choose the species and select Weigh from Quick Records. Fill in the Date and Select Animals if you have not done so already.

Underneath you will have the option enter an Average Weight for the whole groupo, or Individual Weights for each animal:

After entering the weight(s) you now have the option of adding a Weight Event label to the record. This is will feed into the Weigh records report and will help you identify specific weighing events such as induction, rearing, weaning and birth weights.

Please bear in mind, these weight event labels are only available on IAM Compliance and Performance plans globally. They cannot be updated through the CSV importer and do not currently feed into the On Farm / Lifetime Performance reports.
All existing / historic weights will be labelled as a "Check Weight" by default.


One-off Weight Record - Mobile App

Click Livestock in the menu tab along the bottom.

Tap Create Bulk Record and select the species you wish to create the record for.

Select Weigh

Fill in the Date weighed, Animals and Weight fields. Tap Save.

Like on the Web Portal, you have the option here to add an Average weight or Individual weights and you can also add a Weight Event label and assumed Daily Gain:​



Weight Event labels can also be added on the Live Session setup screen when starting a new weigh session on the mobile app.

Weights can be viewed on your individuals record cards, animal histories and within the Insights feature. For further information see Livestock Insights (Individuals).
