Changing the age of your livestock after weaning is as simple as altering their age class. See below for a step by step guide.
Ageing your livestock from calves/lambs to weaners is done automatically when you create a weaning record. For more information on weaning see our help article here.
Mobile App
You can edit your mobs age class via the Mob Details page. Select Map and tap the paddock with the livestock you wish to edit. This will bring up the Paddock Overview, then select Mobs and Mobs.
Select the mob you wish to edit, and select More and then Ageing. To change the age class of your mob select the Age Class drop down menu.
If the updated Age Class you select conflicts with the mob’s previous Age Class (for example, a change in sex or an age downgrade), a warning message will appear to indicate the issue.
Updating a mob’s Age Class will not automatically update its name.
Web App
You can change your livestocks age class by selecting the mob on the farm map. From here you can select Create mob record -> Ageing on the mob of choice.
Similar to the mobile app, you can use the drop down menu to select a new age class for that mob.
Edit an Ageing Record
Editing an Ageing Record is only possible on the mobile app.
To edit an Ageing Record, select the mob from the farm map or mob list.
Select History and then Ageing
From here, you can Adjust the ageing record date or Undo the record.
