Connecting to RMIS

Connecting to the Red Meat Industry Services for livestock traceability data

AgriWebb can now connect to the RMIS. Connect your account by following the steps below to allow you to submit livestock movements for traceability.

What you can do with RMIS:

  • Check for incoming movements using the incoming movements tab

  • Submit movements on and off the farm (Sales, Purchases, Transfers On+Off)

  • Submit Add Tag records and Replace Tag records (only if the animal has come through on the incoming movements tab)

Participant Token

You will require a Participant Token to connect to RMIS. You get this from their website - head to the RMIS Traceability Platform and log in through here.

On the welcome dashboard, you should have an option that says Traceability Token. Follow these steps to get your token.

Contact RMIS should you need any further help acquiring the token.

Getting Connected

Log on to the AgriWebb Web App and select the Account, followed by Government Connections:

Click Add Connection.

A dialogue box will prompt for the Government Body you wish to connect too. Select RMIS.

Ensure the GLN (Global Location Number) number is in the farm settings.

If you're adding a new farm to begin with, you can add all the details under Account > Farm Management> Add Farm. If it's an existing farm, head to the same place but press Edit under the farm.

You can put the toggle on the say you want to connect to governing bodies, then choose RMIS.

Add a new connection from the drop-down, and fill in the token. Enter a nickname if needed, but this isn't mandatory.

Press save, and your account will be connected.
