Tell us about your operation

If you are not a farmer, tick I am not a farmer. If you are a farmer, answer the following questions by selecting the best option that suits you.

  • How many workers do you have?
  • How many sheep do you have?
  • How many head of cattle do you have?

2. Create your farm

Tell us the name and address of your farm. Providing a full address will make it easier for us to find your farm on our map but if you don’t have it handy, just the town or postcode will do.

Fill in the boxes with your Farm Name, Farm Address and click Find my farm.

Your farm location will appear! Click Yes if the map matches the location of your farm, and No, search again if it does not.

Draw a paddock

Now that you have the location of your farm, try drawing some paddocks. You can edit or delete these later so you don’t need to be precise now. Click Start drawing to create your first paddock!

Click the map to start drawing your paddock.

Using the zoom button (+) in the bottom left of the screen you can zoom out to see more of your farm.

Click on the map to create a point, and draw the boundaries of your paddock, as shown in the the animation. Join the points together to create your first paddock.

Name your paddock

Type in the name of your paddock.

Now that you have your first paddock drawn, it is time to draw your second paddock! Click Draw another paddock.

Follow the same steps in the animation to draw your second paddock. You can also use the zoom button in the bottom right corner to zoom in and out on your farm. Name your second paddock.

Well done! Now draw one more paddock.

Well done! You now have three paddocks, and are now ready to add a mob.

3. Add a mob

Choose the mob type you wish to add. As AgriWebb currently supports sheep and cattle enterprises, you can choose to add either a Sheep, Ram, Cattle or Bull mob.

Click on a paddock to place your mob in that paddock.

Add a mob

Update the details of your new mob below. Fill in the Name, Age Class, Breed and Tag Colour. Click Save Mob.

4. Move your mobs

Moving mobs around your paddocks is easy. Simply drag and drop the pins to move your mobs around. Try it for yourself!

Click Move a mob.

Click and hold your mob and move it to a different paddock.

Note, moving mobs in the Portal map can only be done during the trial period, as this feature is in testing. Once the trial period has ended and you subscribe, mobs can be moved in the Notebook or the Portal Mob List.

Delete mobs and paddocks

Would you like to delete the mobs and paddocks you created during the tutorial? Don’t worry, this just clears your tutorial data.
